POSITION: Boarding Supervisor.
RESPONSIBLE TO: Principal through Head of Boarding.
REPORTS TO: Head of Boarding.
KEY FUNCTIONAL RELATIONSHIPS: Deputy Head of Boarding, Assistant to the Boarding House – Pastoral Care, Junior and Middle School Boarding Coordinator, Boarding Staff, Boarders, Boarding Families.

Are you passionate about supporting young people in a nurturing and dynamic residential environment? We’re seeking a committed and suitably qualified individual to join our College community as a Casual Boarding Supervisor, starting as soon as possible with the position to continue into 2026.
Position Overview
About the Role
As a Boarding Supervisor, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day operations of the Boarding House, working closely with the Head of Boarding and a supportive team. This position operates on a roster during term time, with accommodation and meals provided when you are rostered on.
Who We’re Looking For
Ideally, you’ll have experience working with girls aged 11–18, and a background in Boarding, teaching, or residential care will be highly regarded. You’ll be someone who thrives in a team environment and is committed to the wellbeing and development of our boarders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide supervision, care, and support for boarders, ensuring their safety and wellbeing.
- Foster a positive and respectful environment using fair and restorative behaviour management practices.
- Support academic success by supervising evening study sessions, especially for senior students.
- Lead and encourage participation in recreational activities.
- Promote attendance and engagement in chapel services.
- Assist with administrative tasks and contribute to semester reporting.
- Model high standards in behaviour, manners, dress, and punctuality.

B. Qualifications
- Studies in education, nursing, social work or psychology would be advantageous to this position.
- A current ‘Blue Card’ is required,
- Current First Aid (or willingness to obtain),
- Completion of a Duty of Care Certificate in Student Residential Care is desirable.
C. Communications & Teamwork
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively.

Selection Process
