The cheers were deafening as Fairholme’s Junior Vicki Wilson Gold Team won the Regional Championships on Sunday 9 September, defeating St Ursula’s College, Toowoomba, in the final by 5 goals.

The team of Alexandra Gee, Alexandra Walker, Katie Lowe, Elyse Rich, Georgette Robinson, Sarah Aljassim, Jemima Burt and Isabelle Carey; coached by Brooke Marjoribanks, progressed through the preliminary rounds undefeated. This was no mean feat as there were twelve teams from the Darling Downs entered in their division.
