The Month of May is ‘Open Homestead’ at Fairholme College. We would like Artists to come and paint, sculpt and create from the historic Fairholme Homestead. We will provide you with Morning Tea and Lunch, all we ask is that our students witness your work in the making. Bookings are essential.

Open Homestead Program | Artist-in-Residence
The Open Homestead Program, for the month of May, is proving to be a wonderful opportunity for both our visiting artists and our students alike. The program aims to provide artists with the opportunity to work on-site at Fairholme College, in order to sketch, paint, photograph or even sculpt the surrounding environment, which may ultimately provide stimulus materials or inspire the creation of artworks that could be submitted for our Facets of Fairholme Art Exhibition › on 13-15 October, 2017.

We have been thrilled to have welcomed artists, Annette Coward, Sabine Keogh, Laura Holding, Lisa Hansen and Kate Civil. Students from across the school have been delighted to watch these artists in action and understand the processes behind the finished works.

We wish to extend our sincere appreciation to these artists for giving their time and willingly sharing their artistic gifts with our students.
